What are the side effects of long term severe antihistamine addiction, benedryl (diphenhydramine)

Once an error is clearly & fully understood, it need not be repeated. Addiction is to the false Self. Drugs & Alcohol r just self-medication trying to alleviate the pain caused by that addiction.

Drug & addiction can be devastating to family members & individuals.Drug addiction treatment can include medications, behavioral therapy (such as cognitive therapy, psychotherapy, counseling, etc. ). A Research Based Guide released from the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) said that treatment must be specific to each individual & assessed & modified continually to match the person’s changing needs.

Fortunately, its takes fairly large doses of benedryl to have toxic effects, although 75 pills is more than the dosage that has killed some people outright. The tolerance of different individuals to benedryl spans a huge range, so it is hard to say what the drugs have done to you. Toxic effects typically damage the liver, kidneys, or both. You could get a panel of blood tests to screen for kidney and liver damage. You could consider seeking counseling to stop doing this.
